Being a counselor at Camp Good News is a great privilege and a great responsibility. We hold our staff to the highest standard and are looking only for quality, Christian young men and women to work with our campers.
Senior counselors must be college students. Junior counselors must be seniors in high school
Our counselors go through ten days of intense staff training, are CPR and First Aid certified, have daily staff meetings, attend weekly Bible studies and are required to maintain their own personal quiet times. If you would like to apply for the greatest job in the world, then push the apply button or call (936) 295-7641 and talk with Chris Gomez!
If you have a heart to help the local church reach kids from different neighborhoods, cities and cultures, then this could be the opportunity for you.
You’ll be trained to be a lifeguard, ropes course facilitator, camp activity instructor or other odd jobs needed around camp. Friendships created will be deep and long-lasting because of the time spent working together, participating in bible studies, and going out on those incredible “evening off” nights!
If you are interested, please call and speak to Andy Stem or click the apply button and make sure you select “Summer Ministry Team” as the position!
